Kamala Harris beat Donald Trump’s employment record during a rally in Flint, Michigan, on Friday, trying to keep the momentum going after scoring high-profile endorsements from Liz Cheney and Bruce Springsteen.
“Donald Trump is not a fellow worker,” the vice president told the crowd, arguing that Trump has not done enough to help the auto industry or support the striking United Auto Workers, like Joe Biden.
Donald Trump, for his part, told a crowd in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Friday that he supports the creation of a task force to oversee “woke” generals and diversity training in the military.
Biden, on Friday, said he did not know whether the November election would be “peaceful” because of Trump’s “dangerous” rhetoric, in a surprise speech in the White House briefing room.
Biden was also asked whether Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delayed a diplomatic agreement on the Gaza conflict to influence the election. He said no administration has helped Israel more than his and Netanyahu should remember that.
Trump will be joined by tech billionaire Elon Musk at a rally Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of the July 13 assassination attempt.

Trump and Anna Paulina Luna slammed Harris over Hurricane Helene response
Donald Trump and Representative Anna Paulina Luna both ripped the Biden-Harris administration’s response to Hurricane Helene.
Trump said the response was the worst disaster response since Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, while Representative Luna unreasonably accused federal officials of cutting aid because conservative communities were among those affected by the storm.
In fact, Asheville, one of the cities with the most storm damage, is heavily Democratic, and sits in a district that Joe Biden is running for in 2020.

Did Kamala Harris really ‘lose’ thousands of migrant children?
Trump only brought up the now well-known Republican claim that Kamala Harris lost hundreds of thousands of migrant children on her watch.
As usual for the Trump campaign, these comments are related to the substance of the actual facts and a lot of exaggeration.
“300,000 children disappeared during the Biden administration,” Trump said.
“Many died. Many people are in sex slavery. A lot of them were in slavery, period,” Trump continued.
This is the real news that caused this GOP smear, the inspector general’s report that found that hundreds of thousands of migrant children did not appear in the removal process because they had not been immediately notified.
