The 31-year-old pop star – who portrays Glinda Upland – wore a pink floral mini dress with puff sleeves and matching pumps chosen by stylist Mimi Cuttrell.
In one hand, Ariana was armed with a marker to sign autographs for waiting fans and she held her iPhone and a beige coin purse in the other.
Hairstylist Gabor Kerekes slicked Grande’s (born Butera) dark blonde locks into a heavy updo and makeup artist Michael Anthony contoured her complexion.
The two-time Grammy winner was spotted on the street a day after she sparked concerns about her weight with her extremely thin appearance at the Mexican premiere of Jon M. Chu’s big screen adaptation of the 2003 Broadway musical.
