In May 2024, the internet exploded over Jennifer and Ben’s wedding because they had not been seen in public for nearly 50 days. Not only that, but social media users also noticed that the “On the Floor” hitmaker “liked” an Instagram post explaining his relationship woes.
The original post referred to people who “can’t build healthy relationships with people who lack integrity & emotional security…don’t have effective communication skills,” and “don’t know who they are or what they want.”
A user of the @yourcourageouscomeback post claimed that Jennifer “liked” the post, according to several outlets.
“Just went on IG and saw that @jlo liked my post,” the user wrote next to a “like” image of Jennifer’s official Instagram account. “Jlo or his PR team, I’ll take it.”
However, the rumor was rubbished afterwards PEOPLE reported on May 17 that Jennifer and Ben were, in fact, spotted out together. The couple is rumored to be wearing a wedding ring.
However, several outlets reported that the couple had been living separately for several weeks. The couple even listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale this summer.
Will Jennifer and Ben get a divorce?
In the summer of 2024, J. Lo and Ben have sold their house in Beverly Hills, while Ben bought a new Los Angeles property on July 24 – Jennifer’s birthday. That day, the pop singer was in the Hamptons celebrating her birthday.
In August, Entertainment Tonight reports that the couple is “waiting to announce their official separation, as they want to make sure everything goes smoothly, especially with everyone involved.”
On August 20, 2024, Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben, respectively TMZ.
