Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have marked 12 years of wedded bliss by sharing a touching tribute on social media.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the couple described the “ups and downs” they’ve faced since tying the knot in June 2012.
“Although I fell in love with you when I met you, marrying you is like a dream,” Alec, 66, captioned the post, which featured a series of photos from their wedding day.
“Good and bad. Up and down. 7 children. (Plus Ireland, Andre and Holland.) Four dogs. Four cats,” she said, referring to Ireland’s eldest daughter, her partner André Allen Anjos, also known as RAC, and her grandson, Holland.
“Even though it’s been a tough time for me, I wouldn’t trade it. Happy Birthday. You’re my gift,” the “30 Rock” alum added.
For her part, Hilaria – who is 26 years Alec’s junior – shared a selfie of the pair alongside a sweet caption.
“Happy 12 years of marriage, Alec … not only has there been joys and sorrows that cannot be shared, but we have also experienced everything from sides, zigzags, incredible love and also painful things and setbacks,” he said. the yoga instructor, 40, wrote alongside the Instagram snap.
“We stay tight … continue with family and friends to provide comfort and energy. Lean in gratitude for the brightness of each day. I am lucky to have you and my children, Alec,” Hilaria added.
Hilaria also apologized to her 900,000 followers for not being as active on social media as she used to be.
“I hope you feel your kindness is a gift we will cherish forever,” she wrote, before telling her boyfriend, “I love you, Alec ❤️.”
The couple is proud of Carmen, 10, Rafael, 8, Leonardo, 7, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, 3, María Lucía, 3, and Ilaria, 1.
Alec is also father to Ireland, 28, from a previous relationship.
He is also a grandfather, as Ireland welcomed his first child, daughter Holland, last year with André Allen Anjos, also known as RAC.
Last month, Alec and Hilaria announced that they would star in a TLC reality show called “The Baldwins” together with their seven children.
“We invite you to our house to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,” the actor said as the chaotic in-front recording was played.
“Home is our favorite place,” he said, hinting that the show will be airing next year.
The announcement of the project comes after a judge cleared the way for a criminal trial to resume Alec after the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
Following the fatal shooting, which took place on the set of the movie “Rust”, Alec was found not guilty for the crime of involuntary manslaughter after insisting that he did not pull the trigger.
The trial is set to begin in a Santa Fe courtroom with jury selection on July 9.
