Diddyhis son Justin Combs sued over missed car payments, but sources say the situation was caused by a bill sent to the wrong address, In Touch have specially studied.
According to court documents obtained by In Toucha company called Porsche Leasing LTD sued Justin Dior Combs and JDC Holdings Group.
The suit says Justin, 30, signed a lease for a new 2022 Bentley Bentayga V8 in January 2022. According to the deal, Diddy’s son agreed to make 42 payments totaling $3,365.23.
The company said Justin breached the deal when he failed to make a payment due on December 20, 2023. Porsche Leasing said the agreement had a provision stating that if Justin defaulted, the entire lease amount would be due immediately.
“Therefore, there is now due, owing and unpaid from the Defendant approximately $172,601.43, plus additional costs pursuant to the terms of the Agreement. Interest accrues from December 20, 2023, at the legal rate of 10% per annum, until paid in full, ” the lawsuit said.
The company said it had “fulfilled all its obligations under the terms of the Agreement.” Furthermore, Porsche Leasing said they had the right to immediately take the car from Justin.
The lawsuit asks the court to order Justin to return the car and pay $172k in damages plus interest. Sources told In Touch the car payment was not made because the bill was sent to the old address. Insiders say Justin didn’t accept the bill and immediately took action to pay the bill after learning about the lawsuit.
A source said the lawsuit should be dismissed next week.
Attorney Justin, Jeffrey Lichtmansaid, “Due to a change of address, Justin did not receive a bill which resulted in an accidental payment. We are in contact with the creditor and the issue is being resolved. .”
Diddy’s eldest son faced legal problems before the lawsuit. In June 2023, Justin was arrested for DUI in Beverly Hills. A few months later, Justin pleaded no contest to one count.
He avoided jail time but was ordered to complete an alcohol education program and pay a fine. After being arrested, Diddy’s ex Mass. Hylton said to Diddy on social media. She said, “I’m not protecting anybody. Just my son. I’m not with reality TV s–t.
“When is ENOUGH?” he asked. “How can you go from one of the biggest to make all the money from alcohol and sue the damn alcohol company,” he said in reference to the mogul. He said, “sell healthy things that build people. I’m sick!”
Diddy, 54, is facing legal trouble of his own now. His problems started after his ex-boyfriend Cassie Ventura suing him for alleged sexual assault. Diddy denied the claims. The case was quickly resolved. However, in the following weeks, several additional plaintiffs sued Diddy on assault charges. The entertainer denies all allegations of wrongdoing.
Additionally, the feds launched an investigation into the mogul.
His attorney slammed the feds’ raid as “excessive use of military-level force.”
The lawyer said, “there is a gross overuse of military-level forces as search warrants were executed in Mr. Combs’ place. treated.
He added, “Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members were arrested or had their ability to travel restricted in any way. This unprecedented raid – paired with an advanced and coordinated media presence – was premature. The rush for punishment from Mr. Combs and nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There are no criminal or civil findings with any of the allegations. This is innocent and will continue to fight every day to clear his name.”
