Halle Bailey recently pulled out her mama bear claws over Hello! The ‘Little Mermaid’ actress apparently threw jabs at him DDG after he showed up with his son to stream with Kai Cenat.
Halle addressed the issue via social media on Wednesday. Now, the internet is divided on her approach to the situation and whether she is right or wrong.
Halle Suggests DDG Not Talk About His Place With Hello
So, this is what happened. On November 6, clips began circulating online of Halo and DDG joining Kai as more than 219,000 people watched Cenat’s stream. One video shows DDG walking into Kai’s room with his son and Halle in a black bag.
Cenat looked startled by Halo’s presence and slowly greeted the baby before hurrying to find a seat. Meanwhile, Daddy D pulled Halo out of the bag and held him in his hand and then in his lap. Kai, still excited, tells the baby that he is his uncle as the baby sits quietly. Later in the stream, Kai Cenat asked DDG about Halo’s habits as a baby.

It’s unclear how Halle Bailey knew about Halo appearing on Kai’s stream, and she didn’t elaborate on the matter. However, he made several others. In a short social media statement, the mother of one clarified that she was currently “out of town” and did not “approve” of her son being on the stream. Bailey said she was upset that her child was exposed on the internet and that she couldn’t protect him.
“I wasn’t told or informed, and I’m very angry to have a baby in front of millions of people. I’m his mother and protector and saddened by not being informed, especially when I’m out of town,” wrote Halle Bailey.
Within two hours of posting, Halle Bailey’s tweet had more than 11,000 reshares, more than 4,600 comments, and at least 80,000 likes. In a since-deleted follow-up post, Bailey opened up about experiencing post-partum depression and needing boundaries.
“As a woman who has experienced a severe postpartum, there are limits that I want to respect. No one knows what a person is going through until they are terrified,” he wrote.
Halle Advocates For Privacy, But Social Media Users Call Cap
Halle’s post on Wednesday appears to be the first time she hasn’t directly called out her ex-boyfriend for having Halo online. When the couple broke up, DDG was the first to report online in early October. Now, it may be a fact that DDG has pointed out wayyyy more photos and videos Hello online from Halle. However, the mother also did not keep the baby offline. Last week, just like the father of her son, Halle Bailey shared a photo of her and Halo wearing ‘Lilo & Stitch’ costumes for the scary season.
The several thousand reactions to Halle’s post show that she thinks the double standard. Meanwhile, others are validating the mother’s concerns.

DDG Before Accusations of Using Halo for Fame
DDG has yet to respond to the reaction of his ex-boyfriend. However, early Wednesday, he said X about being a father. “This man is very cool. Make sure you all take care of the kids,” YouTuber writes.

As we all know, DDG’s paternity has been going viral ever since the couple decided to reveal their baby’s face last summer. But last week, he dragged social media users who accused him of using Halo for fame. User X made the allegation after DDG shared a flick of Halo in which he was photographed in adult-sized teeth.
“I never understood this narrative when my son could not speak. He is ‘famous’ because of his parents. If your father sends you when you are young, no one cares lol,” the father wrote at the time.
This is the second time Kai Cenat’s platform has been at the center of controversy this week. Before Halle popped up from Halo to be a stream guest, Kodak Black was on the hot seat. The Florida rapper went viral for his twitchy behavior and distance while kicking with Kai and the online community. At one point, Kodak is seen popping Percocet pills. He then clapped back at critics and fans who expressed concern.
