Geri Halliwell has started referring to her by her first name again amid her husband Christian Horner’s sexting scandal.
The Spice Girls icon, 51, found her marriage in the press recently after the Red Bull boss was accused of ‘inappropriate behavior’ by a female employee of his own team.
Christian was cleared after an investigation, but the matter is still ongoing.
The accuser, who has been suspended by Red Bull, is now appealing the decision to remove 50 years.
After staying with her other half, Geri appeared in footage this weekend using Halliwell as her name, rather than Horner.
Posted on Instagram, the video was the result of her being followed by cameras ahead of the Dior fashion show at Drummond Castle on Monday (June 10).
Dressed elegantly in all white and looking glamorous, Geri began: ‘C’est moi Geri, Geri Halliwell’ which translates to, ‘It’s me Geri, Geri Halliwell.’
The Wannabe songstress was shown an exhibition of the luxury French brand and considered the designs, then sat in the front row alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Jennifer Lawrence.
Looking radiant, Ginger Spice wore a blazer with a contrasting collar, paired with a polo neck sweater and a matching skirt.
This is because Geri’s husband, Christian, has come across inappropriate text messages from another woman, who is in her 40s.
The woman then approached Formula 1’s HR department, saying that Christian, who married Geri in 2015, would book her that night.
They accused him of “coercive behaviour” before an internal investigation led by an unknown KC appointed by Red Bull cleared him.
Christianity strongly rejects wrongdoing.
However, the saga continues, as campaign groups have fumed, claiming the complaints were not ‘properly investigated’.
Consequently, the unnamed woman lodged a formal appeal with the parent company F1 GmbH.
After his salary was suspended, the complainant told him he had acted dishonestly and received a legal letter, which gave him five working days when he received the letter, to appeal the results of the investigation.
Christian was allowed to resume his role when GmbH cleared him of wrongdoing.
When asked about the matter before the recent Bahrain Grand Prix, he said: “There was a complaint that was submitted, it was handled in the most professional way by the group – not by Red Bull Racing but by the owner of Red Bull Racing. , Red Bull GmbH – which appointed KC independent, it is one of the most reliable KC in the land, and take the time to investigate with all the facts.
‘They interviewed everyone involved as well as anyone else who had an interest. He looked at everything and he came to a conclusion where he dismissed the complaint.
“As far as I’m concerned, and as far as Red Bull is concerned, we’re moving forward and looking to the future.
‘The time is now to draw the line below.’
Geri shared her seven-year-old son Monty with her husband. While she has remained tight-lipped about the scandal, she has made references to ‘bravery’ recently, a theme she explores in her new children’s book.
She said: ‘There’s a theme in me that runs through the book about finding your strength in any situation.
‘If you’re being bullied, and it doesn’t matter how old you are, if you feel lonely or sad because of a loss – it’s about finding courage.’
