The second Big Brother housemate, Daze, has been evicted after a crying episode with house-wide punishment.
In the line of eviction all-women saw 24-year-old joined by Lily, 20, Martha, 26, and Ali, 38, in the face of the public vote for tonight’s episode.
Housemate Khaled, 23, voted for the women after being empowered through nominations as head of house in Tuesday’s episode, to the shock of viewers.
It comes after last week it broke a long-standing curse when female contestants became the first to be booted from the ITV2 reality show in 13 years.
Ryan was initially dismissed, saying he was ‘gutted’ to leave first – but comforted himself by saying that someone had to go.
Daze was all smiles as the other housemates hugged her and cried, walking to the door and cheering her as she left.
On Late and Live, Daze told hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu that he felt ‘really sure’ about leaving because he found the house ‘broken’.
The activist explains that he is a homebody, so he can cope and cross his own boundaries.
Daze thought he had been kicked out – with five nominations – for his polarizing work but he was ‘bitten on the chin’.
He admits he tried to talk Big Brother into challenging Lily, revealing he has arthritis and chronic pain that gets worse from sleeping on the floor.
Earlier in the episode, Daze revealed he had mixed feelings about the house, telling Big Brother in the Diary Room that he had ‘weathered it yet’.
During the eviction episode, a shock hit the group as some housemates were accused of breaking the rules in the smoking room.
This means punishment, with half of the luxury shopping gone – including tea, coffee (or coffee if you ask Dean), fizzy drinks, biscuits, crisps, and sweets.
140 packets of crisps were confiscated after Martha and others wrote on the back of the door as graffiti, which broke the rules on writing messages.
Lily is furious at the lack of candy, complaining about the ‘lack’ of sugar and saying she’s not going home now.
Nathan and Rosie, known as Baked Potatoes because of their duties, are relieved that Martha’s tears and judgments have ignored them.
The pair admitted their blossoming relationship was now all ‘out in the open’ after other housemates joked there were condoms on the bedroom floor.
However, some in the house have not been loved as when speaking to Big Brother in the Diary Room, eviction nominee Ali said: ‘I am responsible for the things I say and do’.
He has been at the center of drama after a clash with Marcello, prompting complaints to Ofcom from viewers after ‘alleged misogynistic comments’ were made by Marcello.
34-year-old youth mentor, lied about kissing Ali, 38-year-old forensic psychologist after ‘vape kiss’.
The audience was shocked because Ali, a lesbian with a boyfriend, defended herself against the other housemates and Marcello did not kiss her.
Later Ali confronted him saying ‘You tried to ruin my life,’ he replied: ‘You came to the smoking room! You know what you’re doing.’
72 complaints were lodged with Ofcom ‘in relation to Marcello’s behavior and alleged misogynistic comments’.
Big Brother continues on Sundays at 9pm from ITV2 and ITVX.
