Kaia Gerber went out for dinner in New York City last night without her boyfriend, Austin Butler, but Page Six can exclusively confirm that there are no obstacles in heaven.
In a photo obtained exclusively by Page Six, the model was seen at Ralph Lauren’s luxury restaurant, The Polo Bar, in New York City around 9:00 PM ET Tuesday evening. The 23-year-old was joined by Laura Dern and Liam Hemsworth.
Although we were told that Butler was originally supposed to participate in the outing, the “Elvis” star was stuck at work.
“She’s been filming for hours on end for Darren Aronofsky’s new movie” and couldn’t make it, the insider said.
Reps for Gerber and Butler did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
Butler, 33, has been hard at work on the upcoming crime thriller, “Caught Stealing.”
The film’s star was photographed wearing white make-up and fake blood on Wednesday morning while filming a scene with co-star Matt Smith, who was almost unrecognizable in his colorful mohawk.
Butler plays a former baseball player who plunges into the criminal underworld of 90s New York for Aronofsky’s upcoming film.
Although Gerber has not been spotted out in public with Butler since his birthday in August, we are told it does not mean that the famous duo does not spend quality time together behind closed doors.
A source revealed that while the couple – who have busy schedules due to their burgeoning careers – are in the same city, they prefer to spend time together in private.
Gerber has actually been seen out on the town with friends lately, which has set the rumor mill abuzz.
Last month, blind gossip account DeuxMoi posted that Cindy Crawford’s daughter had been seen “all over” comedian Marcelo Hernandez while at French restaurant The Odeon.
Photos circulating online show Gerber dancing, having fun with the “Saturday Night Live” star, 27, and apparently lifting her shirt while at a party with a group of people.
She was then spotted going to a music event with Cole Bennett in New York City this week.
“Everything is fine with Kaia and Austin,” a source confirmed to Page Six. “They just go out and about.”
Gerber and Butler first started dating around early 2022, two months after she broke up with actor Jacob Elordi.
“Kaia thinks Austin is a lover,” a source told Page Six at the time. “They are very happy to get to know each other.”
Since then, the couple has hit the red carpet, including the Met Gala, and vacationed together.
Before Gerber, Butler dated Vanessa Hudgens for nearly nine years.
