During an explosive interview with Sean Hannity, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley revealed shocking information about President Trump’s recent assassination attempt.
Accusations of incompetence, lack of coordination, and disregard for security protocols have been leveled at the Secret Service and other federal agencies involved in protecting the President.
Sean Hannity: Tell us what this whistleblower told you is most alarming to you.
Josh Hawley: Well, one thing is that most of the details that were given to Trump that day, at that rally, were not Secret Service. Most are from other federal agencies, including Homeland Security. And, Sean, he wasn’t ready.
They don’t know what the procedure is. They do not have the site locked. They don’t patrol the perimeter enough. When you just said a moment ago, they left a huge gap.
Whistleblowers also tell us that they allow people to enter the field unchecked. They don’t monitor who goes on stage. I mean, that’s unbelievable, Sean.
The Gateway Pundit reports that Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) sent a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Friday demanding answers about his attempt to attack President Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania last weekend.
Senator Hawley wrote that whistleblowers have told us that the majority of security officials who worked at last weekend’s rally were not Secret Service personnel, but were on the Homeland Security Investigations team! They are not even trained Secret Service personnel!
“Whistleblowers who have direct knowledge of events have approached my office. According to the allegations, the rally on July 13 was treated as a ‘lax’ security event. For example, detection fangs are not used to monitor entry and detect threats in the usual way. Individuals without proper designation may gain access to backstage areas. Personnel of the police department are not properly buffered security around the podium and are also not posted at regular intervals around the security perimeter of the event.
“In addition, the whistleblower’s allegations show that the majority of DHS officials are not USSS agents, but are drawn from the Department’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). This is mainly because HSI agents are not familiar with the standard protocols normally used in these types of events, according to the allegations.
During an interview with Hannity, Hawley revealed that he visited the site of an attempted murder in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Hawley met with local officials and inspected the building from an unidentified sniper who allegedly tried to kill President Trump.
During the visit, Hawley discovered that the roof, from where the sniper was located, was barely attached and within close proximity of where Trump stood during the rally.

Here’s my take on the scene where President Trump was shot. The big question: why wasn’t the building the shooter shot at included in the security perimeter? Very close, with a clear line of sight pic.twitter.com/r1n7cnaH0q

Whistleblowers say they are not patrolling the perimeter with canines as they should be, leading to security gaps.
The whistleblower also stated that people were allowed to enter the field without being checked. No one is watching who goes on stage.
Hawley also found that law enforcement officers were on different communication channels and were not coordinating. He believed that someone had to resign because of this disaster.
Local authorities expressed anger at being unfairly blamed for the incident. He claimed to be doing his job and following the instructions given by the Secret Service.
The FBI now has more security at the site than it did the night of the incident. When Hawley visited the site, he was asked to leave by an FBI official who said he was not supposed to be there.
Below are excerpts from the interview:
Josh Hawley: Well, I can tell you, Sean, I saw it today. Before the Senate committee meeting on this, I went to see for myself. I went to the grounds, I went to the sites because, frankly, I don’t trust the FBI and the Secret Service to give us the real story. I want to see for myself. And you are right, the roof, it is almost not pitched at all. It’s on a slight incline.
And I’ll tell you this, Sean, I can’t believe how close Trump is. I stood where Trump stood, looking at the building. I mean, it’s 100, 150 yards max. This is a clear line from where President Trump went to the building.
And the whistleblower there, Sean, what he told me was unbelievable. It is that they are not patrolling the perimeter with canines as they are supposed to do. They don’t patrol the crowd. They did not adequately keep the area around the stage safe. And, of course, we know that he has no eyes on the roof and the building. It’s unbelievable.
(…)
And having been there today myself, I can tell you are very close. The building the shooter opened fire on was very close to Trump’s residence. The idea that you can do this all this time and no one knows, no law enforcement knows they’re on the roof.
Another one, Sean, the whistleblower told us that law enforcement is actually on a different channel, a different radio communication channel. There are different channels, and they are not coordinated. Sean, this is a total disaster. Someone has to fall back on this.
(…)
I’m telling you, Sean, what the local authorities are saying here, I’m talking to local law enforcement, and what they’re telling me is that they’re angry that they’ve been wronged. What he told me was, listen, we’re doing our job. We did what he asked.
The Secret Service was not prepared. They don’t give clear instructions. Residents say, don’t blame this on us. You have to take some responsibility, Secret Service, and they have to. And your point about Ukraine is correct.
We can spend billions on Ukraine, but we can’t protect the American president? I mean, what’s going on here? We need to get the facts, Sean. And I tell you, I won’t rest until I get it.
(…)
Sean, when I went to the site, the FBI had more security at the site than they did the night Trump was shot. A little late. I mean, FBI, late. They try to control the information. Sean, they tried to kick me off the site. They said, ‘You go. You don’t have to be on site. We don’t want you here. get out of here.’
They try to control the information. Absolutely. He brought the local policeman, Sean. Get this, I’m on the site. I had permission from the local security operatives to be there, and the FBI came out and said, ‘You have to go. We don’t want you here.’ That’s what they try to do.

The Gateway Pundit team also visited the crime scene to take photos. Crime FBI agents are playing on the phone outside the building where Thomas Crooks allegedly shot Trump, hitting him in the right ear.
A Pennsylvania State Police Officer came running to the FBI Agent and could be heard apologizing to the FBI for not stopping the TGP reporter driving into the parking lot.
The Pennsylvania State Trooper defers all questions on site to the Public Affairs Officer at the Central Command Tent by the entrance to Butler Air Farm. A Pennsylvania State Trooper guarding the entrance said there are no Public Affairs Officers on site, and will not be engaging the media at this time.
Media access to the scene and situation has been aggressively monitored and controlled. Law enforcement has placed yellow police tape all around the paved butler airport runway and blocked all entrances to the site.
All local law enforcement defers all statements and requests to the State Police. All State Police defer all statements and requests to the FBI. The FBI declined to comment, through its Pittsburgh field office.
The FBI refused to provide access to the scene to TGP, and refused to provide photographs from the area or allow access to take such photographs.
Even after the case is deemed ‘solved’ and ‘closed’, most federal law enforcement officials deny open records requests as the product of an ongoing law enforcement investigation. And when forced to make disclosures, it is also common for federal law enforcement to redact any and all information in the released documents.
