When Does The 2024 College Football Season Start?
The first game of the 2024 college football regular season schedule is August 24, 2024. Fans can watch Florida State and Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland. The game is shown on ESPN at 1200 PM Eastern Time. There are a few more games today (week 0 of the season), before everyone starts their season the following week.

2024 ACC Football Kickoff Schedule
The 2024 ACC Football Kickoff (aka ACC Media Days) begins on Monday, July 22, 2024. It runs through July 25 and takes place at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ACC Network broadcasts live coverage of the event each day. Here’s the day’s schedule for you. Remember, this is the first year we have some new players in the league with the ACC now stretching from the Pacific to the Atlantic.

American Athletic Conference Media Day
The American media day schedule is set for July 22nd to July 23rd. They will be held at the Loews Arlington Hotel in Arlington, Texas. ESPN+ is on tap for July 23rd from 9am to 2pm ET. You can also check American football schedule 2024 here.
Big 12 Media Today
Big 12 football media day will be held July 9-10, 2024 in Las Vegas. They are the first major conference to participate in the 2024 college football media day schedule. Whether you think the Head Coach will take Colorado to the College Football Playoff championship or win less than four games, you can check out Colorado’s schedule here.
2024 Ten Days of Football Media
The Big Ten plans to hold football media days from July 23 to 25. They will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Live coverage will be delivered by the Big Ten Network and broadcast on the FOX Sports App. Below are the days each team is scheduled to perform.

American Football Conference Kickoff and Media Day 2024
The 2024 Conference USA Football Kickoff and Media day will be held on July 23, 2024. It will be held at PGA America in Frisco, Texas. The event is shown on ESPN+ from 11-3PM ET today with all participants participating.
2024 MAC Football Media Day
The 2024 Mid-American Conference (MAC) media day will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024. Fans will be rewarded with a visit to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Coverage is set for ESPN+ from 11-130PM ET today.
Gunung Kulon Football Media Day
The 2024 Mountain West football media day (or MWC) takes place July 10-11, 2024 at Circa Resort & Casino in Vegas.
2024 SEC Football Media Day
The 2024 SEC football media day schedule runs from July 15-18, 2024. It is being held at the Omni Dallas Hotel this year. There is live coverage of the event each day on the SEC Network from 7 am to 7 pm ET. We’ll also see ESPN2 and SECN with coverage on Wednesdays from 8-9 PM. Team appearance schedule:

We’ve seen a lot of changes in conference alignments and realignments for the 2024-25 college football season. Lots of movement around.
