What the Post Wanted team is looking for
When shopping for XL twin sheets, here’s what to keep in mind for each product recommendation that makes our curated list:
- Ingredient: Whether it’s bamboo, cotton, microfiber, linen or others, each differs in warmth, breathability, softness and durability.
- Number of threads: Thread count depends on the material, and a good rule of thumb is to look for 200 to 400 if you’re looking for twin XL sheets in the cotton family.
- Fit: Of course, you want to make sure the twin XL sheet set will fit the mattress. You want to search for a size of 39″ x 80″. Deep pockets are also a plus.
- Care instructions: Note that the XL twin sheet set is machine washable, as you’ll definitely want to put it in your washing machine combo every two weeks or so.
- Endurance: We do the research for you, so all of these options are top quality, regardless of price point.
