The Intercontinental Contender #1 Championship Tournament featured an electrifying triple threat match between Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Ilja Dragunov. After that, Dragunov prepared to perform the Konstantin Special, but Lee anticipated and countered with a sit-out powerbomb. Lee goes for the pin, but Dragunov kicks out.
Dragunov catches Lee with a right hand and follows the Death Valley Driver into the corner. Each superstar delivered their best, exchanging powerful blows to secure victory. In the end, it was “Monsters Among Men” Braun Strowman who won. The turning point came when Kaiser landed an enzuigiri on Sheamus, only for Sheamus to counter with a Brogue Kick and a pin attempt. However, Pete Dunne intervened, pulling Sheamus out of the ring and striking him with a shillelagh. Back in the ring, Strowman capitalized by splashing Kaiser in the corner and finished with a running powerslam to secure the win.
6) Judgment Day vs. Damian Priest and Jey Uso
Damian Priest and Jey Uso got the win, thanks to Mami Rhea Ripley. Liv Morgan interfered during the match to distract Priest and Uso, jumping onto the ring apron to distract the referee. However, Rhea Ripley’s music hits, and she approaches the ring on crutches to face Morgan. Morgan mocks Ripley’s visible injuries, but Ripley suddenly straightens up and smiles, using a crutch to repeatedly attack Morgan. Morgan quickly retreated into the crowd. Back in the ring, Jey makes a blind tag to Priest without Finn Balor or JD McDonagh noticing. Priest tossed McDonagh out of the ring and prepared to execute the Razor’s Edge on Balor, but McDonagh intervened to make the save. Jey then spears Balor and tags in, finishing with the Uso Splash for the win.
