That goes home Dancing with the Stars tonight?
The new season of the beloved reality competition show started with a bang, with many couples scoring 20+ in the first twirl.
Of course, fans immediately have their favorites, gathering behind Olympians, reality stars, and even convicts.
But someone has to go home, and the first contestant to be eliminated from the competition might not come as a surprise, to be honest.
Who is going home on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Tonight?
For the first week, double elimination. While many people have placed their bets on Eric Roberts and Carl Winslow, eh, Reginald took the boot, both of them were completely safe.
No, it’s the ladies who ended up on the chopping block. Tori Spelling and Anna Delvey, who fans wanted straight, were both kicked to the curb.
Which is probably a good thing. When Julianne Hough asked Anna what she would never do about the experience, her answer was all:
“Nothing,” Anna replied.
Clearly, Anna had no time for this. Anna has no time for you.
However, we feel bad for Tori. It will be a good incentive to return.
Top Scores From Last Week
In the premiere of Dancing with the StarsJoey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson kicked off the evening with a lively Cha Cha to “Dancin’ In the Country,” earning a respectable score of 21. Given Joey’s history with dancing (Bachelor Nation, you know what we’re talking about), it was an unexpected performance for start the night.
It was followed by Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, who took a different route with a sultry Tango to “A Bar Song (Tipsy) (Remix).” The summer song routine resulted in a score of 20.
Then some dark horses rose from the competition.
Chandler Kinney, a star unknown to older viewers, and his partner Brandon Armstrong really shined with Tango for “HOT TO GO!”, scoring 23 points and being the best performance of the night. They went into the night as one to beat.
Football players Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach were close to the electrifying Salsa for “This Is How We Do It,” which earned them a solid 22. Finally, Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold sent Jive flight for “Don’t Stop Me Now,” earning a score of 21 .
Let’s see if everything will be able to stay up for next week!
How Scores Are Calculated
Here’s how to score. Winners and losers are determined based on the combined scores of the judges and the audience. So, whatever score Bruno, Carrie Ann, and Derek give the contestants is only 50% of the total score.
The other 50% is calculated from audience votes. Fans can choose to save their favorite pair online or by text message. Whoever has the lowest combined score will be eliminated.
Now there is an element of the event called “Save the Judge”. executive producer Deena Katz told TVLine that the judges are keeping it — which has been around since Season 28 — at least in their eyes. dancecreative team’, reducing the impact of the audience’s voice.
“I have to be about America,” Katz said. “And at the end of the day, the judges save sometimes not what America wants. And (removals are based on) half the judges and half the Americans vote, and that’s why we do it.
Who Will Win ‘Dancing With The Stars’ This Season?
After 33 seasons, it might be easy to spot a winner among the losers of the first dance.
But historically, the star who gets the highest score in the first dance rarely wins in the end. Last season, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy- tied for 5th place after their first dance. And, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev came in 3rd place after the first routine two years before that.
Everyone walked away with the Mirrorball Trophy after all was said and done.
So who will win this year? We’ll guess the top 3 from Jenn Tran, Stephen Nedoroscik, and Chandler Kinney.
But we leave room for change of mind as the season progresses!
