Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ the investigation continues to open after the arrest on September 16 in New York.
The 54-year-old’s arrest follows an investigation in which law enforcement interviewed three women and one man in New York City on “allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms,” according to NBC.
Attorneys for Combs released a statement after the home invasion in March, calling the ordeal an “excessive use of military-grade force.”
“This unprecedented ambush-paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence-leads to a premature rush to the judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in a civil lawsuit,” prosecutor Aaron Dyer stated, according to. some outlets. “There is no finding of criminal or civil liability with these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every day to clear his name.”
Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial. A trial date has not been set, but a status hearing is scheduled for Oct. 9.

according to NBC Newsreported on the day of the arrest, federal agents also found “various Freak Off supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube” during a raid on the home.
