Tia Mowry Sets The Record Straight About Her Latest Comments About Her Relationship With Tamera Mowry-Housley
As The Shade Room previously reported, last week, Entertainment Tonight released an exclusive clip from Mowry’s upcoming reality show, ‘Tia Mowry: My Next Act.’ In the clip, Mowry talks about adjusting to the new family dynamic between her and her ex-husband, Cory Hardrict. Specifically, the actor talked about him and his wife not being in the same house.
“And when you let the kids go, you can visually see how they’re doing again,” Mowry said.
Additionally, in the clip, Mowry says that “being alone was the most challenging wedding” when she split from Hardrict.
“Times like this I feel and wish my sister and I were still close, and I could pick up the phone and call her,” she added.
Furthermore, when Entertainment Tonight published the clip, the outlet’s caption stated: “Tia Mowry revealed that she was a bit distant from her twin Tamera in the series premiere … Tia let the cameras into her life as she navigates her new normal after her divorce from Cory Hardrict.”
In reaction, social media users were generally shocked by Mowry’s revelation about the current state of his and Tamera’s relationship and the clip went viral. Then, on Tuesday, September 24, US Weekly published an exclusive interview with Mowry. In addition, the mother of two explained that the statement showed the physical distance between her and her sister.
“In this transition in life, sometimes you just want to hug, and you just want people to be accessible like before, and not like that. That’s called life,” he explained. “I love my sister very much. She loves me very much. We have closeness and beautiful connection. But that’s what it’s all about. It’s just how life unfolds, and it happens with many families.

However, social media users continued to react to Mowry’s statement in The Shade Room’s comments section.

Instagram user @imrsimonsays wrote, “Gurllll… ok ma’am.. we heard what you said.”
As Instagram user @island_margarita added, “Well if you’re going to play in the face like that, I don’t care about the time.
Instagram user @__jessejessie wrote, “girl You say what you say and that’s fine. Fix the problem with your twin…”
As Instagram user @angelica_thecoolblerd added, “I know he’s trying to save, but he specifically mentions not being able to call his sister because he’s not around.
Instagram user @drtamierasharris wrote, “Prayers 🙏🏾 Tia goes to NAPA. It’s a 1.5 hour flight. Have wine and girl time with your sister. You have the means to do this. Maybe a weekend getaway once a year for the two of you would be good or even 1 day of non-work time. You still need one more ❤️”
As Instagram user @__morganmaleisa added, “But didn’t he say he wished he could pick up the phone and make a call? Or did I stumble?”
Ex-Husband Tia Mowry recently opened up about her relationship with her parents
As social media continues to question the twins’ current relationship, Mowry’s ex-husband has offered some insight into their current position. As The Shade Room previously reported, Hardrict appeared on a new episode of ‘The Pivot Podcast.’
During his appearance, the actor explained that he had to “adapt” to his family’s new normal. However, she believes “everything” about the children and that she and Mowry are parents “with love.”
“You can’t get caught up in what’s going on there (and) what people are saying,” he said. “I just know where my heart is, and I have to keep going because I want all the blessings and … if I’m successful, they’re successful, my kids are successful.”
