The winner of Britain’s Got Talent has been announced, with Sydney Christmas walked away with the title, a £250,000 prize and a future place at the Royal Variety Performance.

The top three acts are Abigail & Afronitaaa, Jack Rhodes and Sydnie Christmas.
But it was the audience who ultimately decided that 28-year-old singer Sydnie was the favourite.

He then thanked everyone who had supported him: ‘I can’t believe the amount of love I feel. I was overwhelmed with love. That’s great thank you very much.’
After her final performance, which saw her sing Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz, Amanda labeled it ‘spellbinding’ and ‘perfection’.
‘It’s just gold dust,’ he added.
Bruno stated that it was a ‘show stop’ and stated that he had ‘taken his breath away’.
‘You just radiate hope and joy and light and there’s something about that performance and emotion and I just feel it moving through me. It was a glorious and wonderful moment,” Alesha added.
Concluding the judge’s comments, Simon said it was ‘really special’ to witness.
‘I actually felt very emotional.’
After her win was announced, BGT viewers were quick to share their congratulations on social media.
‘It’s worth it! It sounds amazing!’ Jamie posted on X.
‘Congratulations Sydnie Christmas for winning BGT 2024. A special talent and a well deserved winner. A fantastic final once again showing Britain but also the world really has talent,’ Daniel added.
