The music icon and his brother, Liam Gallagher, sent fans into a frenzy this week by confirming plans for a massive UK tour.
Pre-sale tickets went live on Friday evening, with fans sitting in virtual queues exceeding 10,000 in the hope of securing a place in one of the venues for the 15-date UK and Ireland 2025 tour.
But before the pre-sale pandemonium, Noel gave an impromptu ‘interview’ while out shopping at the Stone Island store in London on Wednesday.
Noel, 57, was approached for a chat by a man named Steve Sheward, who was out with his four children.
The clip which has been viewed millions of times on X captures the sweet moment in which the father describes Noel as part of a ‘legendary band’.
‘Wait, did he come back with his sister?’, one of the daughters asked, to which the father confirmed.
One of the kids then asks Noel why he’s dating his brother, Liam, in the first place.
Jokingly, Noel replied: ‘Why did I break up with him? ‘Because he stole my teddy bear.’
‘No lie. He stole it in 1978,’ added the Manchester Britpop star.
In the clip, Noel is seen chatting and laughing with the children as they walk down the street together, their hands full of shopping bags.
Steve shared the video with the caption: ‘Bumped into Noel Gallagher yesterday at the Stone Island store in London, a little boy’s dream of walking into the pub for a beer with Noel & Liam. next year’s ticket. A true man (and) a scholar.’

As for the real story behind Noel and Liam’s feud, the pair have not appeared on stage together since their split in 2009.
Fans have been clamoring for the brothers to reunite since their breakup prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
They have been airing their dirty laundry publicly for the past 15 years after Noel declared he could no longer work with his brother.
Insults have been hurled left, right and center between the two brothers, but for fans and their long-awaited reunion, Noel and Liam announced on Tuesday that they had made an acrimonious split, confirming: ‘Great. the wait is over.’
He also announced concerts in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Cardiff, for which pre-sale starts tonight at 7pm, while general sale starts on Saturday at 9am and sales for the two Dublin shows will go on sale at 8am.
It has not been announced who will be performing with Noel and Liam as part of Oasis.
Although, previous reports stated that no other original Oasis members would be attending the reunion, with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds expected to be in attendance.
Unfortunately, not everyone will have the chance to be there, with virtual queues dashing the hopes of diehard fans before they even have a chance to try for tickets.
What’s more, just a few minutes before the sale on Friday night, the likes of Viagogo have listed four resale tickets.
Although Ticketmaster apparently implements strict rules for the sale of tickets, this does not stop scalpers from exploiting the once-in-a-lifetime return of music.
Furious fans took to X to release, calling it a ‘disgrace’ as tickets for the Wembley show sold for more than £900.
Many who asked for resale tickets – some of whom were given extortionate prices despite having a limited view backstage – were canceled.
Ticket sales come after the band also released a 30th anniversary edition of their debut album, Sure Maybe, today.
The new edition of the group’s 1994 debut album features outtakes, demos, and alternate versions of songs recorded at the time, as well as remastered versions of the original LP.
