Lauryn Hill has gotten social media talkin’ after she recently performed for her classmates at a high school reunion.

Lauryn Hill came out and performed at the High School Reunion
According to Billboard, Hill attended a reunion at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey, earlier this month. During the event, the singer decided to send an “impromptu performance” to his former colleagues.
Subsequently, several clips of footage appeared on social media of Hill taking the stage. One TikTok user named Donna Stewart Schiele took to the platform on August 11 to share a video of Hill performing her and The Fugees’ hit single, ‘Ready Or Not.’
“My school is better than your school. The CHS/ MLK Club had an amazing reunion #chsmlkreunion weekend!!” Schiele wrote in the caption of his clip.

In addition, Schiele showed footage of Hill performing her hit single, ‘Doo Wop (That Thing).’

Later, Schiele showed a clip of Hill performing her hit song, ‘Ex-Factor.’

However, Schiele wasn’t the only one who took Hill’s recordings to heart. Another woman named Jazmine Johanna took to Instagram to share a reel showing the entire event.
“#chsmlkreunion Part 2 People travel from abroad to love their village. It’s just amazing. Still speechless from @mslaurynhill giving us an impromptu performance. This reunion is so good for the soul ✨ COLUMBIA HIGH SCHOOL ❤️🖤🤍>>>> ,” he wrote in the caption of the video.

The Singer With The Fugees Tour was recently Cancelled
Lauryn Hill’s recent pop-out comes in the midst of her and The Fugees recently making headlines. As previously reported by The Shade Room, Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras are scheduled to embark on a national tour on August 9th. However, three days before the kick-off of the tour, the 18-stop event was cancelled.
Furthermore, at that time, the reason for the cancellation remained unclear.
On August 8, Hill released a statement about the somber update.
With difficulty, the decision was made to pull the dates of the upcoming North American tour … Last year, I suffered an injury that required the rescheduling of some of my shows,” he said in a post shared via Instagram.
Ultimately, Hill said the media contributed to low ticket sales for the tour, leading to its cancellation.
“Unfortunately, some media outlets that love sensationalism and clickbait headlines seem to be creating a narrative that is affecting ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour,” he said.
