The latest episode of Sister Wives involves a monumental event that no one thought would ever happen again.
Kody Brown, in the same room, with his wife and all his ex-wives.
Given his, to put it mildly, hostile relationship with Christine, Meri, and Janelle, the thought of every gathering together seemed impossible.
But, here are all the details about the amazing reunion, and what happened next.
Kody Faces All 3 Ex-Wives At His Friend’s Wedding
Season 19 of Sister Wives has been dominating so far in attracting viewers so far.
The footage for this season all starts at the end of 2022, before some of the biggest turning points in the Brown family, like Garrison.
We know that all the parents – Kody, Janelle, Christine, Meri, and Robyn – were all at the funeral and memorial service. But it turns out, the Browns actually found themselves thrust together before that, thanks to different circumstances.
The third episode of season 19 begins with Kody and Co., discussing a friend’s wedding. Everyone was invited, and everyone was nervous.
This would mark the first time that all five adults had been together since Isbael’s half-and-half graduation party earlier. Many children are invited as well.
“I wish it wasn’t like this,” Janelle admitted in a statement before the ceremony. At first, Kody planned to skip the party, hoping to avoid the “bullshit” from Christine and Janelle. In the end, he got up and left.
Christine shares her plan to attack from asking to move. “Pay attention to each other and pretend it’s not there.”
Janelle called the evening “weird;” he admits he’s been in contact with Meri, albeit briefly, and Kody at one point encourages him to say “hi.” But things never escalated beyond that.
“Obviously it’s over,” Janelle explained, as Kody insisted that her family was fighting a “civil war.”
Christine & Robyn Face To Face When Mykelti Was Born
There seems to be a lot of focus on the kids this season. Maybe it’s from the producers, knowing that the talk among fans right now is Kody’s relationship with the older kids.
A lot of the episode is spent with all the moms crying that their kids don’t have a good relationship with Kody. Well, except for Robyn. His children, who are young and still live with him, still have his attention.
Even Kody said he was happy to have “loyalty” from Robyn’s kids, but not from the older ones. But honestly, whose fault is it? As Christine and Meri explained, when Robyn entered the picture, the feeling among the children and their families was that they were no longer special and were not welcome in Robyn’s home.
“From the beginning, he knew his dad wasn’t going to be there,” Janelle explained.
But whatever riffs remain between him and his kids, Kody is confident they can be resolved easily.
What I’m hoping is that with time moving forward and just making a phone call that this relationship will come back and I’ll be in a relationship with my kids again,” Kody said. The problem is, he’s not the one making the call. He expects his kids to do it.
It has gotten to the point where Robyn has reached out to other children to build bridges. But he failed so far.
Except for Mykelti. Robyn and Mykelti have remained close over the years. So, when the time came for her to give birth to her children, Mykelti wanted her mother and Robyn to be there.
To Christine’s credit, she made no effort to fight this. He even smiled with Robyn in a photo he shared from the day.
But later, in his confession, he insisted that none of his family was destroyed. Meanwhile, Robyn was crying.
“For a moment I was able to forget everything,” he said of the exciting day.
