Duggar, 34, gave her YouTube followers a peek of what planning her August wedding was like for her, providing footage as she checked out the venue for her special day and took a spontaneous trip to look at the dress. Ahead of that, the Calculate alum found a Pinterest photo of what she wanted her dress to be.
“I have Pinterest photos of wedding dresses that I really like, but I try not to set a certain style,” Duggar explains in voiceover. “I’ve heard from a few other people that they’re surprised by their favorite dresses, so I’m trying to open up my options and just want to try on a few styles.”
While they were scanning various dresses, Jana’s twins John David Duggarhis wife Abbie Duggar immediately spotted one that resembled her inspiration image.

“Abbie pulled this one off the shelf that looked exactly like my Pinterest photo,” Jana says in voiceover. “So I’m really excited to try this.”
When Jana came out of the dressing room in a dress, her sister Jessa and Joy Duggarwell Abbie immediately gushed over the dress. “The way it hangs over your shoulder, like, that’s so beautiful,” Abbie said.
As Jana continued to try on several other dresses, she explained that there was a clear winner in mind.
“After trying on all these dresses, there is one that stands out above all the others. And this is the one that most closely resembles my inspiration photo,” she said in a voiceover. “So I think we know what we want after all.”
The Duggar family has been enthralling viewers with their unique dating process since 2008 — and the tradition is still going strong. Jana tried on the dress again, planning how she could adjust the straps to reflect the Pinterest image.
“Overall, this dress is very similar to the one in the photo, but the top is a little different,” she explained in a voiceover. “However, I thought it would be an easy change to change the top to match the photo, so I thought I’d go ahead and wear this dress.”
After adjusting the straps and adding a skirt underneath, Jana was sold on the dress. While wearing the dress, Jana held up the inscription, “I found that!”
“I can’t believe I found the dress. It came faster than I expected,” she said. “It seems almost too easy, I feel. But I’m so happy to have this big item checked off my to-do list.

Jana sparked engagement rumors in July when she uploaded a series of Instagram photos with a ring on her left hand. It was reported that Jana got engaged the next month Stephen Wiseman and have applied for a marriage license.
The couple exchanged vows on August 15 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas in front of 500 guests, each people.
“I think it’s one of those things that all girls dream about one day,” Jana told the outlet earlier in the day. “For me, it felt like, ‘OK, it’s not coming.’ But now it’s starting to sink in. The reality is starting to set in. And I’m like, ‘Wow, this is really something I’ve been dreaming about.’ And just to see it happen is incredible and hard to believe. It’s a dream come true.”
