NetflixLove is Blind UK‘s Steven Smith looking to clear the air.
Steven responded to his estranged wife Sabrina VictoriaClaims that he invited his ex-boyfriend to his wedding, which was filmed for a Netflix reality show in September 2023.
In an interview with IGV Presents published on Tuesday, August 27, Sabrina told her friends Maria Bengi, Catherine Richards and Demi Brown “Steven brought his ex-boyfriend to our party.” Sabrina added that she “couldn’t speak” to the mystery woman, but she introduced herself.
However, in the statement to Cosmopolitan UK on August 29, Steven said the woman in question was just a friend.
Since the premiere of Love Is Blind in 2020, fans have wondered how effective the concept of speed dating without seeing other people will be. “It’s a person that I went on a few dates with a couple of years ago that didn’t materialize into anything other than friendship,” Steven told the outlet. “I asked Sabrina about the whole wedding list, as couples do before the invitations are sent out, so I was surprised she said this.”

NetflixSteven and Sabrina are one of the three couples who made it down the aisle Love is Blind UK final, however, during the reunion episode on August 26, they were revealed to be together again.
“We agreed that we are going to split our time between Belfast and London for the first year,” Sabrina, who comes from the capital of Northern Ireland, said during the tell-all. “There is no consistency in Steven’s behavior towards me and the relationship.”
Speaking to his estranged wife, he said, “You didn’t make any arrangements for me.”
In an interview with the BBC on Wednesday, August 28, Steven said that he and Sabrina want to annul their marriage.
“We took a gamble, we took a leap of faith and it just didn’t work out,” said Steven.

“There’s joy in seeing me fall in love again, but there’s also a lot of questions being asked about where it all went wrong and settling for the end result,” she said.
Steven added, “We broke up and it just didn’t work, we weren’t compatible in real life.”
Sabrina said Cosmopolitan UK in an interview published there he plans to throw a big party to mark the separation.
While the premise of Netflix’s Love Is Blind is to help singles find their match, the experiment doesn’t come without drama. “I also had a ‘Thank God I’m not married’ party in Greece in October,” Sabrina told the outlet.
Sabrina says she has invited all her loved ones to attend her and Steven’s wedding – and covered all the expenses.
“I feel bad because everyone paid (to come to the party),” he said. “Like, my brother paid from Korea. So, this is my way of saying, ‘Thank you for supporting me.’”
