Bébé Bob x Mr Lyan Studios
The high-end dining trend gets a shot when Bébé Bob teams up with Ryan Chetiyawardana, the famed bartender behind Lyaness and Seed Library, to launch a new cocktail and snack menu. The meal is led by “schnuggets”, chicken schnitzel nuggets served with caviar, along with drinks from Chetiyawardana including a one-sip martini and “Frites Royal” made with liqueur de pomme frites. and Champagne.

Burger & Beyond x Laurent Dagenais

Social star Laurent Dagenais has graced our FYP on TikTok for the past few years and now, to help launch his cookbook, the Beyond Burger collaboration is finally coming to town. Three dishes create a collaboration: pineapple and chili butter fried chicken burger; steak tostada with fried shoestring; and clotted ice cream. With nearly two million followers, expect this to be busy.

Chino at Naughty Pig

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Chino cut his teeth in Michelin-starred restaurants in the Basque country and the south of France, training under Mauro Colagreco and Fernando Trocca. Naughty Piglets Residency brings an “Argentine tavern” to Brixton, with dishes including monkfish tail in gochujang butter, looks like a winner. Naughty Piglet now plays chef every five weeks or so, so watch this space for more.
7th Street Burger x Truffle Burger
London’s love of smash burgers shows no signs of abating with NYC’s 7th Street Burger popping up in London in just four days. It took over the Truffle Burger site in Soho, making just 500 burgers a day. One comes early, because the first 50 people in line will get a free gift.
107 Wine Shop and Bar x Julie Hetyei
Julie Hetyei has finished his residency in Dina (see below for what’s next) and wasted no time in heading to 107 (before P Franco) for the residency, which looks like it lasts until the beginning of 2025. the first night of September 5, with 107 describing the menu as “often changing” and “modern, French countryside”. A cracking reason to walk by Clapton.
Most recently, Naz Hassan has been on the hobs at Carousel, The Sea The Sea and Oranj, and this new residency is a short stint at Leytonstone wine bar Today. Their latest pop-up has seen dishes including lobster claw gholi bhaji and halibut in fig leaf pathuri with kala daal. An Italian and Bengali combination of the most interesting variety, in other words.

Charles Bryant x Cafe Pier
Chef Charles Bryant returns to Cafe Pier this September with his popular steak sandwich. Likely to sell out faster than Oasis tickets, get yourself to Chelsea with plenty of time to spare some of the best steak sarni.
Tommy Myllymäki, chef of the two-Michelin-star Aira in Stockholm landed in London this September for a special four-handed dinner with Tom Phillips, who is the chef at Restaurant Story, together with Tom Sellers. The pair created an eight-course showstopper menu, which is like a checklist for modern dining. Welcome broth; squid with oyster emulsion and caviar; scallop quenelle with king crab; and monkfish with grilled chicken emulsion, ceps and juniper dashi all feature.
Aulis, the Michelin-starred chef in Soho, joins Japanese restaurant NIJŪ (formerly 20 Berkeley) for a four-handed dinner this month, with chefs Chris Golding and Charlie Tayler collaborating on a special tasting menu, set to include truffle pudding with caramelised Birch, and A4 wagyu “tournedos rossini” with black truffle and foie gras.
Carousel {PAIRED} at Tate Modern
The Corner at Tate Modern will host what it describes as a “multi-disciplinary party” this month, with DJ Gilles Peterson and chef Yoji Tokuyoshi collaborating on an immersive dinner to remember. Divided over five courses, guests are set to experience food and music in harmony, with specially created sounds and complimentary tastings designed to delight the senses.
2024 British Street Food Awards

The British Street Food Awards return this month with free tickets for guests to guarantee entry and vote for their favorite vendors. Finalists include Planet G, a plant-based chef who has created vegan haggis, and Pasta A Mano, a pop-up “pastaria” from Wales that mixes and makes pasta on site using local cockles and organic Pembrokeshire tomatoes in their vongole.
Orasay Guest Chef Series
Partisan, a pop-up restaurant from Alan and Jennie Williams, is set to join Orasay for a one-off dinner in a series of collaborations throughout September. Describing the food as “English with an Italian accent”, the menu promises the finest ingredients along with the signature Italian spritz.
Vintage sardines are usually the kind that cause health warnings, but PYSCIS is a canned fish brand that specializes in very expensive seafood. July, the Alsatian wine bar and restaurant in Fitzrovia, hosts a tinned fish company with the father and daughter duo behind PYSCIS introducing six limited edition tins paired with natural wine.
