Sean “Diddy” Combs is no longer in intensive care at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, sources told Fox News Digital.
The fallen music mogul “died by suicide,” a source familiar with the situation told Fox News Digital.
More than a week ago, Combs, 54, was placed on routine suicide watch, with an insider confirming that “it’s common practice for high-profile individuals to be admitted to a federal facility and do not demonstrate a mental state.”
In addition, the source confirmed that “the family visited him in jail.” It is not clear which family members attended the visit.

In a statement to Fox News Digital at the time, Diddy’s spokesperson said, “Mr. Combs is strong, healthy, and focused on his defense. He is committed to fighting this case and has complete confidence in the legal team and the truth. .”

The Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center has been home to several inmates, including R. Kelly and Ghislaine Maxwell. In 2022, Kelly was placed on death row in a federal detention facility after being convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking.
Diddy was arrested on Monday, September 16, and charged the next day with racketeering conspiracy, forced sex trafficking, fraud or coercion, and transportation for prostitution. The rapper entered a not guilty plea hours after an indictment detailing his sex crime charges was unsealed.
If found guilty, he faces a minimum of 15 years behind bars or a maximum sentence of life in prison.

The “I’ll Be Missing You” singer was denied bail twice, even after offering a $50 million bail proposal package that included GPS monitoring of his home on Miami’s Star Island. Diddy’s team tried to show the judge that he was not a flight risk by communicating with the US Attorney during the investigation.
Additionally, Diddy surrendered his passport to counsel on April 1st. His mother, Janice, and his children Chance, Jessie, D’Lila and Love Combs each surrendered their passports under the bond proposal.
The defense also proposed equity from Diddy’s house is on Star Island in Miami Beach, Florida, which is estimated at $48,000,000, and his mother’s home in Miami.

U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Carter noted the possibility of Diddy tampering with witnesses in his reasons for denying bail. The judge acknowledged that the prosecution had proven “by clear and convincing evidence that there was no need or requirement” to secure the safety of the community.
Assistant US Attorney Emily Johnson pointed to Diddy’s long history of intimidating prosecutors and witnesses against abuse allegations. Johnson claims text messages show Combs forced the victim to participate in sexual encounters he referred to as “freak offs.” The rapper is accused of recording sex acts and then using the video as leverage to silence him.
Authorities alleged Diddy ran a criminal enterprise through his businesses, including Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises and Combs Global, among others. He used “firearms, threats of violence, coercion, and verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse” to fulfill his sexual desires, according to an indictment unsealed by Fox News Digital.

Diddy and his employees would “intimidate, threaten, and lure female victims into Comb’s orbit, often under the pretense of a romantic relationship. Male commercial type workers who Combs referred to as, among other things, ‘Freak Offs.'” Diddy often provided IV fluids to victims after “freak offs” to recover from physical exertion and drug use, according to the indictment.
During a raid on Diddy’s home in March, authorities arrested him “freak off inventory” along with three AR-15s with defaced serial numbers, court docs state.
Law enforcement officials also seized “cases and cases of the type of personal lube and baby oil allegedly used by Diddy’s staff to stock the hotel room for the horrors, over 1,000 bottles,” Williams said at a press conference.
