Dawn Richard’s Lawyer Releases Statement About Diddy’s Allegation
According to CNN, Richard’s lawyer, Arick Fudali, has told the outlet that the singer is “grateful” that the Department of Justice “decided to pursue” charges against Diddy. In addition, the singer reportedly expects a “fair trial”.
“It’s stressful, and it’s very difficult,” Fudali said. “They’ve had a lot of ridicule. But seeing the DOJ move forward with indictments is encouraging.
Fudali added that Richard “pleased to see that there is a remarkable similarity between the indictment and the allegationsā made in her civil suit.
“Many of the accusations are very similar, such as sex trafficking and forced labor, restricting their movement, etc.,” said the lawyer.
According to NBC News, Fudali also explained his thoughts outside the 54-year-old court hearing on Tuesday, September 17.
“So, like many alleged victims, Ms. Richard suffered a long silence,” he said. “Mr. Combs is a very strong individual. It’s hard to fight someone like Mr. Combs, but seeing Cassie file a lawsuit and go public really gave him (Richard) a sense of empowerment, that it was his turn, and it was time for him to step forward. with her accusation.”

In a previous report published by CNN, the outlet shared a statement from Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor. Wigdor was tight-lipped when he acknowledged the “many inquiries” his company had received to comment on the recent events.
“In response to the many inquiries we have received regarding the Sean Combs indictment, Ms. Ventura and I have no comment,” Wigdor said. “We appreciate your understanding, and if anything changes, we will certainly let you know.”

In the suit, Rod reportedly detailed speculation that she was drugged and raped by the music mogul.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy’s federal charges were revealed this morning after being taken into custody by the FBI on Saturday, September 16. The 54-year-old has been charged with three counts of crime “racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to. engage in prostitution.”
Per The Shade Room, the 14-page indictment alleges that Diddy used his business enterprise to “torture, threaten, and coerce women and others” to satisfy his sexual desires.
“…COMBS relied on the employees, resources, and influence of a multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled – creating a criminal enterprise in which his members and associates participated, and attempted to participate in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor. work, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice,” the indictment said.
Additionally, the suit notes that Diddy used “freak offs” after luring women into romantic relationships. The bizarre crime allegedly forced women and others to engage in prolonged sexual acts with male sex workers. Furthermore, the act was recorded and used by Diddy as leverage to keep the individual subject to his will.
Finally, the indictment accuses Diddy of transporting individuals across state and international lines. He was accused of committing sexual acts and prostitution by “violent means, threats of violence, fraud, and coercion.”
