He continued, “I don’t know why (he doesn’t like me). Just because we kept passing? He was really nice in the beginning… I always felt the tension from him. I forgot about that.”
Ballas and Palin placed third during the 11th season DWTS and they were eliminated during the fourth week All-star. The duo’s best-ever season 11 caused an uproar among fans and other competitors alike, as Ballas and Palin continued to avoid elimination despite low scores from the judges. Although the duo won the top spot in the first season they competed together, Burke and Palin continued to discuss the tension between them and Ballas which was shown in a segment before one of the shows on All-star.
“I think we were disagreeing on how much effort was put in. I think we just didn’t take it seriously,” she said. “Like, I want to be really serious and practice more. And I think that can be a conversation.
